I never understood the hype for Scalebound, it just looked mid

You seem to have forgotten what the list was supposed to be about. Almost all of the games mentioned were cancelled for very good reasons, explicitly that they were garbage or had gone overboard and weren't workable. Silent Hills, Star Wars 1313, and Time Splitters 4 are pretty much the only games that actually fit the topic.
to be fair though, if the Dark Knight game hadn't of been cancelled we probably would of never gotten Rocksteady's Batman Arkham Asylum
don't have scalebound because it's to predictable but the dead horse that is pt is not that thing been beaten to death so many times that it's pretty much dust by now
1313 was a huge disappointment. Not to mention the best horror game that never was PT.
