Btw seeds aren’t actually spicy themselves, the pith (such as the soft spongy stuff in the capsicum) is the spicy part.

I'm not sure if it's traditional in the countries where it's relevant, but science has proven that salt breaks down egg proteins, however this isn't always a bad thing, for a stir fry where you want paper thin almost sheet like eggs salting them helps
