I wonder how the IMDB rating of this movie is so low. Kaantara can be big hit and this movie cannot be!? I acknowledge Kaantara is of another level and leaves great impact on minds. Because it is based on tribal belief, tribal rights, and human desire of acquisition of nature. And so the Bhediya Movie is also the same. The movie served its purpose. Okay, I agree its not horror and serving it in well cuisined plate in the name of horror comedy is wrong but the movie and plot is vividly showering its message.
Deepak dobriyal being an outsider, have connected himself with the localites so well that his accents and the broken and unpolished hindi is so accurate.
C'mon people …..change your perception. I belong to the native place about which this story is depicted and trust me it's true and its a legend here at my place. Yapung, as shown in movie is the real thing, it protects the jungle and its habitats. Sometime led to destruction upon certain individual who go against the nature. And please don't take other way round and give my words an angle of spirituality, misconception and mythical. It's all about the faith and trust of we tribal.
