Cloud gaming can't compete with anything local..
0:30 hold up 460$? wasn't it like 300 when you first talked about it on Wan show? this is now more expensive than a base spec steam deck
No.
For the 100th time, NO.
I actually like this device, but I mainly play marvel snap and other android games
The problem with the GCloud is not GCloud. It's Steam Deck. $50 more for the base model SD is too small of a price difference for the hardware difference. $200-$250 for it may be easier to swallow. You'll then be comparing value to Switch, which is a preference of which games you want. GCloud can't achieve that price without bringing crappy hardware though. Switch and SD are both subsidized by game sales.
I do not trust publishers. I hate the idea of games being a service instead of a good. I want to be able to download my games. Yes the games have drm but at least if need be it can be circumvented. With cloud if they decide to pull the plug then tough luck.
Moonshadow? Does he mean moonlight??
Well of course you wouldn't hate game streaming, you have internet that the vast majority of people could only dream of. That's the problem. Game streaming can never be a consistent experience across the board like hardware gaming.
Ohhh man this is gonna fuck up searches for GCloud (Google’s AWS analog)
