  1. Ironically I think the idea of moving the imbuement or buff from one piece of gear and putting it on another piece of gear is probably one of the things I find least compelling about Diablo 4. The tradeoff of picking a piece of gear with worse stats but a stronger buff vs better stats but no buff is removed. It's going to create an even narrower list of optimized meta builds per class.

  2. 11:15 I think a meta in any game with variety is inevitable. It really depends on what the player is trying to do in the game that determines if it matters. In games like this I like to see other builds out there, but I'm usually just doing my own build since I don't spend a lot of time comparing myself to other players. I kind of just play Diablo 4 like a single player to coop game.

Edit: 15:01 Just watched this part and totes agree with this =).

  3. Overall I always liked western mmo like wow and similar type specially for being less grindy and not complicated progress system. I enjoy hack n slash more than tab targetting. But I think 1 of the major issue an mmorpg gets stabbed is when it changes its major tag like pvp to pve or pve to pvp just like what happened to wow as well as got complicated im sure lot will agree with me. There is no such thing as perfect it is not possible. As long as there are more things people enjoy than less things they dont the mmo draws attention. But if the major things like combat, gameplay is not enjoyable then they slowly starts to dig its grave unless it is changed for the better. Recently im seeing lot of improvement on korean mmorpg like lost ark which succeed filling the things I mentioned. Unless western developers change things it is not so far korea will take the world market. All I can say is lets hope for the best we can all win if we can compete for filling the gaps. Confidence and vision to see far are needed indeed.

  4. They can't make the entire game idiot proof. As long as they have the feature that helps guide you through the progression tree there should be fewer instances of needing to respec. The game looks great, some of the feature sound cool but I'm not seeing anything innovative. This looks like a mosh up of D2, D3 and POE. Are there any new character classes? I'm sure I'll buy and play this game but maybe not at launch.
