As much as I’m here for the Akshay Khanna sexy smolder, I wonder how many people haven’t already watched Drishyam 2 on Amazon Prime Video. This is pretty much the same movie, give or take a few insignificant differences.

Drishyam 2 movie review by Sucharita Tyagi – Director Abhishek Pathak’s attempt to hold everything together is evident. he seems overly cautious and afraid to make any wrong moves, resulting in a film that is only slightly tilting its head toward the larger commentary of what the middle class must do in a country where they know they don’t have the same legal recourse as the rich, instead of fully committing to the subject. Sure Vijay has to create these weirdly elaborate, and far-fetched tom and jerry traps to protect his family, but now that he’s a rich man too, that fear of being thrown under the bus by corrupt cops and lawyers because he can’t pay them off is gone. The film makes it a point to show us his financial gains, without making a point about this change in life and lifestyle. Vijay might be a chauthi fail, but the Ajay Devgn swag doesn’t say it.

The film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles with Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Rajat Kapoor in supporting roles.[2][3] It is a remake of 2021 Malayalam film of the same name and also the sequel to Drishyam (2015).
