the one of them can't go higher because of the max temp. 89°C so the cache get to hot, when it clocks higher, because there are very close to each other, so yeah to hot. 11:30 change my mind
Pretty excited for the X3d processors since I am currently in saving mode for a new PC so these should be freely available once the investment is ready.
Formula is a great looking Mobo, but 100% not at all needed for vrm cooling.
I've had the idea to build myself a 7900 build: 7900X and RX7900XT. But then I heard that X3D will not be limited to 7800X3D. Now I want 7900X3D (currently 5950X, previous 3900X). But then I heard only 1 chiplet will be 3Dcached. So now my concern is that 79000X3D will only have 6 on 3D cache, as opposed to 7950X3D and 7800X3D with 8 cores. So I really want to see 7900X3D scores.
PS: Unfortunately I still have to wait for RX7900, as I'm off windoze since end of 2021 (LTT gave me the push for the final nail). So, still waiting?? for good stability?

No, the new Xeon are WS parts, not HEDT, even though you can OC them. I listened to Webel cover this story in detail and got no impression this is an HEDT release. Now, the line between the two is mostly one of support. You can USE them however you want to.
