Sydney Sixers elected to bowl first after winning the toss. The top three batters of Hobart Hurricanes got out for the scores 2, 10 and 1. Then Richa Ghosh played a much-needed knock and scored 46 runs and was also the top scorer for the Hurricanes. At the end of twenty overs, a total of 125 runs were scored. In the second innings, opener Shafali Verma led the Sixers with an impressive half-century and helped her side greatly. Captain Ellyse Perry and Nicole Bolton also scored some handy runs to take their side to a victory by five wickets. Finally, the player of the match was given to none other than Shafali Verma.
