I was waiting for the iPhone 14 mini, to upgrade from my 12 mini. I’ll probably get the 13 mini as the 13 and 14 are basically the same.
I really think 14 plus is the best option for anyone wanting the larger option. Normal people don’t need the 3x camera, 120hz display, and certainly not dynamic island. I actually just went with the 14 plus to replace my 11 pro max… The pro is shiny and the “best” so people gravitate to it since it’s not THAT much more even if they don’t need it.
People would rather buy the 14 pro max!

I would’ve bought the 14 Plus if it had a ProMotion display but instead I got the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The iPhone 8 Plus was $799.99 with 64gb the iPhone 14 plus should had started at $799.99 not $899.99
I’ve got the 14 plus, and I’m pretty impressed so far. I tested the battery yesterday, from the time I woke up I never charged it, and when I went to bed around 10 I still had 40% battery. That would never have happened with my Samsung.
Summary: The Price, not great.
