I was wondering if it's possible to directly connect it to your MOBO without using the USB? So it could be controlled by software on the PC.
I thought it might be possible since it has several connectors?
I personally wouldn't mind a little bit of soldering if it could work without using the little controller and USB connector.
When you cut off the part you don't need, the amount you do need still works, right?
Can the leftovers be used elsewhere? And what would I need for that?
