Even men made of polygons need to cry sometimes, so let’s talk about how traditional masculinity can coexist alongside more positive, compassionate traits, to portray healthy role models for men. In other words, we need less people like Andrew Tate, and more Arthur Morgan.

While I have your attention, which characters do you think are a good, positive portrayal of masculinity?
I just finished Ragnarok and these exact thoughts have been on my mind a lot recently. Great video.
A point that should be made about Kiryu in the positive is that his arc throughout the series also deals with fatherhood as well, albeit after 0. He plainly states his intentions to take care of the children that Japanese society often shuns for their lack of family ties, and even though he definitely makes mistakes over the course of the last few games he's in, he's remarkably genuine and caring towards his adoptive children outright for a macho man protagonist.
Great video, but I think you may be underselling Dante a fair bit. Particularly his arc in the third game, how he goes from a too-cool-for-school edgelord who only cares about himself to learning to care about helping others and living up to his responsibility.
Luigi is another example of positive masculinity where he's the exact opposite of his brother Mario. The Take has done a video on him years back about how he's a male role model we should all look up to.

I gotta say the way they portrayed Zagreus in Hades was pretty amazing.
I don't agree with your take on Dante. Something I've always liked about the DMC series is how the protagonist has been shown to openly cry. In DMC1 it was really cheesy, and in DMC3 he tries to cover it up, but he's never admonished for crying. It's actually portrayed as a strength and a sign of humanity. But if you're going off of DMC4 and 5 I see where you're coming from, because Dante isn't given a lot of room to express any strong emotions which is a shame. I think Nero does a good job picking up the emotional slack though.
If women have so much problem, they should never interact with men…..
