Ew. A $250 dollar monitor. Such a poor choice.
Monitor is one of the most important parts of a pc build. Image quality and fidelity is paramount.
A video showing these running some games would be nice. To see what to expect.
Good video but I wish you would stop scrolling up and down when you're showing us a page on Amazon (or whatever) so I can actually read what's on the page. Yes, I could stop the video but that would require me doing something lol. Other than that, no complaints.
MB should have WiFi and Bluetooth.
Hi Paul.. I am glad to see you are making these videos and will look forwards to a more up to date build video as I am now considering building a new PC.. I have seen some sweet sweet chips at 50% off.. OK they are AM4's but for a value, big punching build, these will be a real bargain.
I will put the build you helped me with 3 years ago in 2020 on here for you to check out.. I am really pleased with it still, I am only slightly unhappy with the case as it came with a bunch of shelves and useless bits I had to force out. But I wanted to say how much you helped me and keep making the videos!! (That keyboard and mouse deal you mention here is something I missed, that is great value).
Chip – AMD Ryzen 7 2700x 8 cores/16 Threads a steal for £180.00 in 2020!!
MotherBoard – B450 Tommahawk Max AM4 – ~ £100.00 The same model as you used in your video I believe.
GPU – Sapphire Radeon NITRO+ RX 580 8GB GDDR5 DUAL HDMI – £200.00
Memory – HyperX 2 x 8 GB DDR4 Memory Kit – £85.00
Case – Phanteks PH-EC300PTG_WT Case for PC – £60.00
SSD – Samsung 860 EVO 500 GB SATA – £60.00
PSU – Corsair CV650 650W – £50.00
Looking at £800 ish for the keyboard, headset and mouse.. Runs top games at good FPS.
The actual rig is pretty affordable especially if you already have a decent graphic card available. Monitor is always a hefty investment what could be delayed if money is tight 🙂
Ok, lets start the video on how to build a cheap system sponsored by a 2,000 dollar monitor. Buy cheap you get cheap, and the more money you will spend in upgrading in years to come.
Pretty well rounded setup but man does $1250 leave a sour taste. You can go lower if you know what you’re doing, granted it can get pretty involved
rlly useful tips etc my current pc setup right now which took ages to get to its current specs im looking to upgrade to a 1440p monitor soon
