Update on the warranty: We called up the support line for Advanced Skytech (Treasure Box) secret shopper style. There was no wait time to get an agent, and they walked us through every step of fixing the issue including sending videos to assist us. They were patient and helpful overall. Pretty pleased with how it went.

Lots of smart people worked at Dell. We all saw an opportunity to break out and he a wholesaler to dell. Because all dell stuff came from the US originally
Also I talked Dell Canada in to buying Alienware which is Montreal Canada
Dell US process was to expensive
Arguably Alienware saved dell and showed dell a better way to do business

My first PC was a Dell OptiPlex 780 SFF. I loved that thing! It was nigh-on indestructible; I upgraded it to a Core 2 Quad Q9400, 12GB RAM and dual 500GB 2.5" HDDs running in RAID 0 because I couldn't afford an SSD 😁
I had to modify it to think a read HDD fan was installed to get rid of errors at post. Fond memories.
Ha windows 10, i still run windows 7 black edition 😅
