  1. Hi, I have a Gigabyte b550m ds3h ver. 1.3 motherboard and I didn't understand if it is t-topology or daisy chain. I will play games in 1080p, but I would like to buy 32gb of RAM 3600 MHz also to do 4k video editing in the future. Which best RAM would you recommend for my motherboard?

  2. this test is quite unfair in terms of Cost Per Frame since obviously 16GB ddr4 is way cheaper than 32GB ddr5 mainly cus of the huge difference in GBs and if u compare the cheapest 32GB ddr4 with the cheapest 32GB ddr5 the price would be almost identical while the performance difference will be worth it especially for 1% lows.

  3. It's really simple. DDR5 is in the exact same stage and DDR4 was and DDR3 etc etc. In the beginning it's a new, better product BUT the timings are nearly 3-4x higher. The best of the best DDR4 (out of the box w/o manual OC's) is 4000mhz CL14 compared to say G. Skill 6400mhz CL32 – that's the lowest/quickest DDR5 I've seen. I'm likely still going to wait. I have a Z690 DDR4 board with 64gb of 4000mhz CL14 and the price to performance just isn't there. The only situations where it would make sense would be if you are actually building a brand new computer or you're doing something that actually utilizes ram way more than gaming. Current DDR5 prices have dropped a fair bit so now is the time to def buy it but I'm still not blown away why the latencies. $180-190 for 6000mhz 36 / 38 latency. Meh. Then add on another $300-500 for a decent DDR5 mobo.

  4. Weird that this video is only 3 weeks old bc the msi pro ddr5 mobo is same price as the ddr4 version and 16gb of ddr5 is like 150 bucks. You could add another 16gb later and be future proof for like 100 bucks more than ddr4 versions. Unless nothing changes that doesn't sound like value to me
